“I Maestri” clay sculpture, 15” diameter, 2018
Sculptures interpretation from my painting “I Maestri”. They are about 15” symmetrical forms occupying the same volume and looking slightly different. Each representing a “Maestro”, the Italian word for teacher, imaginary beings inspired by spirit guides. They are planned to be displayed laying all together on the floor -a total of 72, if I ever achieve them all.
